Our Professionals

Sunny Trifonova

After working as a personal trainer for a few years, I have applied the Pilates principles of alignment, concentration and centering to all my sessions. Slowly but surely Pilates became my niche, my colour and trademark, which set me apart from the other trainers at the gym.

Opening my own Pilates studio became my personal dream and goal, which I have achieved after 5 years of persevering and expanding my knowledge and experience.

For me, Pilates is more than a profession or just work! Pilates is my first passion, a bridge which connects me with my purpose in life to help and inspire others to live a healthier life, free of pain! I always focus on the precision and alignment and make sure that my clients not only enjoy, but fully benefit from their mind-body spirit workouts.

My lessons are unique and never the same. They are progressive, challenging, well planned and rewarding. My creativity and inspiration are deeply connected to my love of Pilates and people!

Pilates has given me the strength and knowledge to love and truly understand my body. Working in the corporate field for 18 years, I felt I desperately needed a change. After opening the door to Pilates, I never looked back. Teaching the principles of Pilates to others, and watching them transform and grow from strength to strength, brings me immense happiness. To be able to instill the wonder of this beautiful artform to others, is truly a reason to jump out of bed everyday.

After years of intense back pain and regular back spasms, I was advised to do Pilates in order to strengthen my core and to support my spine. After a few sessions, the pain started to ease and since starting regular Pilates, I have not had a severe back spasm. I do, however, get back pain if I don’t do my beloved and restorative Pilates routine!

This amazing transformation within my own body has inspired me to start my career as a Pilates instructor, and I hope that I will be able to inspire people and help them to reap the endless benefits of Pilates. For relaxation, you can book a full body holistic massage, after which you will feel reborn!

I have worked in the Pilates industry for more than 10 years. Having danced professionally before becoming a full time Pilates instructor, the benefits of applying the Pilates principles was and still is apparent in my improved strength, agility, control, fluidity in movement and balance. I am an eternal student, always in search of innovative ways to teach; striving to help clients discover their own potential from within.

Joseph Pilates once said: “Breathing is the first act of life, and the last” this quote stands out to me as we often forget to take a breath. We can apply this principle of breathing and other pilates principles to our daily life. I have always been fascinated with God’s amazing human design and movement. We are all unique and pilates exercises can be used to strengthen each person uniquely.

Most of us are unaware of just how important our deep abdominal and pelvic muscles are to maintain a healthy spine and posture throughout life. I have been an optometrist for more than ten years and pilates gives me an opportunity to expand my horizon and increase my knowledge about the human body. It’s an enjoyable form of exercise with an unlimited amount of modifications and variations to exercises that anyone can try.
