FAQ's

Do you have questions?

FAQ's

What equipment will I use as a beginner?

Beginners will start with the Reformer, Mat and Tower. The Introduction to Pilates package gently introduces all key pieces, so you feel safe and confident.

Do I need experience to use the Reformer or Chair?

No experience needed! All equipment classes are beginner-friendly and guided by trained instructors. However, we strongly recommend one individual session prior joining any group classes.

Is the Pilates Suspension Method too intense for me?

Not at all. While it can look challenging, we introduce TRX exercises gradually. It’s suitable for all levels and helps build strength, balance, and control.

Can I use this equipment during pregnancy or injury rehab?

Yes. We have specialised instructors and certified biokineticists who adapt equipment-based sessions for safe prenatal, or injury recovery training.

What is the difference between Pilates and Yoga?

Although they are both mind-body disciplines, Pilates focuses more on physical conditioning of the body. We also incorporate spring-loaded machines, such as the Reformer.

Will Pilates help me lose weight?

Pilates is not designed for weight loss. Although combined with cardiovascular exercise and a healthy diet, Pilates may contribute to a change in body composition and shape.
